Storyline

It’s the kind of movie you can just relax and enjoy from the comfort of your couch. The plot is a rollercoaster: a newlywed couple, on their first night together, suddenly finds themselves in the middle of chaos when criminals and the police chase them, all after a mysterious package they’re believed to possess. As the madness unfolds, the couple’s relationship deepens, revealing their true selves. What really works about this film is how it balances absurdity with believability—while the situation is totally over-the-top, you’re hooked, laughing, and holding onto your seat the entire time. The pacing is spot-on, keeping you glued to the screen, and with a runtime of just 1 hour 48 minutes, it perfectly mixes drama, comedy, and romance that feels completely natural between the leads. Let’s be honest, Yami Gautam completely steals the show from start to finish. She nails the role, effortlessly bringing the modern woman vibe to life. Whether she’s fiery or showing a more tender, vulnerable side, she dominates the screen. Pratik Gandhi, as the slightly shy, innocent husband, is the perfect match for her, and their chemistry is smooth and effortless—like the ultimate comfort food. The movie doesn’t waste time with unnecessary songs or filler, so the editing stays crisp and tight. The dialogue is sharp, full of humor that feels natural and leaves you laughing in moments you didn’t see coming. Sure, there are a few cinematic liberties taken here and there, but they add to the fun and keep the movie flowing seamlessly. If there’s one minor downside, though, it’s the climax—it feels a bit too predictable. A more unique ending could have elevated this movie from great to unforgettable. But all in all, it’s a full-on "paisa vasool" film that makes every minute worth it.
